A hands-on workshop at NSHM Knowledge Campus, organised by the Analytics Society of India Kolkata Chapter together with the CSA Kolkata Chapter. My session opened the day – an introduction to the Cloud Security Alliance, and an honest look at what a career in cybersecurity actually demands now.
Less of “tools you have memorised.” More of judgement under pressure, the ability to communicate risk to non-technical stakeholders, and the discipline to keep learning. The room was a mix of students and early-career professionals, which made for some of the most direct questions of the year.
