Speaking at Brainware University’s Faculty Development Programme was a chance to talk about something I have been thinking about for a while – why most cybersecurity crises start in the human system, not the technology. We worked through the Gartner Hype Cycle applied to security AI: where the genuine value lies, where the hype is loudest, and where governance has not yet caught up with adoption.
The faculty asked the questions I wish more boards asked. I left with a few new ideas of my own.
