Getting into cybersecurity starts with choosing the right learning path. You can go for a degree like B.Tech or B.Sc in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or IT for a strong academic foundation. If you prefer a faster route, diploma programs or industry-recognized certifications can get you started. No matter which path you choose, learning programming (Python, Java, Linux commands) and networking fundamentals (IP addresses, firewalls, TCP/IP) is essential. Cybersecurity is a hands-on field, so gaining practical experience is crucial.
